Saira is an adjunct faculty of seed who believes architecture as a sensitive approach to functional spaces with emotions and form to suit the context. She graduated from College of Engineering Trivandrum in 2004. She is a practitioner and an academician since 2008. Her vested interest in design engaged her in interior design training sessions offered by BIDA (British Interior Designers Association) from UK. She later established her practice, SK Architects at Kothamangalam in 2013.

Saira is a resourceful person who is credited with intuitive approaches in academics. Her exceptional narrative skills and presentations make the design studios simple and seamless. She motivates students through innovative design exercises. Her creativity and affinity to art is evident from her hobbies and interests in landscape and dance.

She has worked with Holy Crescent College of Architecture since 2011 as an assistant professor for 8 years. Her interested research topics include gender and academic leadership in architecture, space planning and theory of design.
